In the meantime, one of my biggest wins (election or not) was that last week I was overjoyed to find out that I received the Sierra Club candidate endorsement that I was hoping for.

What does this endorsement mean/do for me? It means I can reference it, use the logo and spread the word that one of the most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organizations in the country is behind my efforts to promote awareness of environmental issues in the political office that I am running for. No, they don't hand out cash. It's just an endorsement (that being said, my campaign could definitely use the cash in these last weeks, but that's for another blog-day)!

Now, to push hard and raise just a little more funding so that I can actually slap this bad boy onto some home-stretch campaign material and spread the word that I AM the candidate looking out for your clean water, the environment, and a sustainable future for our utility!
